2053 FL Batting Title to Badr Isam

2053 was a very good year for Badr Isam of the Sacramento Mad Popes.
He ended the regular season with the number one batting average in the Frick League. The Mad Popes shortstop took the title with a .330 average.
In his award-winning season he banged out 201 hits, 5 home runs and 77 RBIs while playing in 151 games.

Ryan Geauxinue's .359 Average Tops in JL

It took a .359 batting average to win the 2053 Johnson League batting title.
Mexico City Aztecs second baseman Ryan Geauxinue said he's worked hard for each and every one of his 222 hits.
"The season was a grind, but things worked out well for me," he said. "It's not easy to always be looking behind you to see who is coming up the leaderboard."
When all was said and done, the 27-year-old also had 16 doubles, 5 triples and 13 home runs for the year. In 156 games Geauxinue totaled 95 RBIs and scored 83 runs.
