 | Red Crescents, Metro Stars Confirm Deal Saturday, August 25th, 2046 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Riyadh Red Crescents and the Mumbai Metro Stars. In the deal Riyadh got 31-year-old 1B Manuel Marino, 20-year-old minor league CF Ivan Gulledge and 20-year-old minor league LF Sean Oby from Mumbai and dealt 34-year-old minor league RHP Juan Nicto to the Metro Stars. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." For the year Nicto has a 2-5 record with a 5.16 ERA in 11 starts. Marino is hitting .201 this season with 9 home runs, 35 RBIs and 29 runs scored. He has 44 hits in 219 at-bats. |   |
