Crawdads Move on to Doubleday Series Friday, October 4th , 2058 It was a sweet sweep for the New Orleans Crawdads as they eased past the Phoenix Talons to advance to the Doubleday Series. New Orleans won the final game by a 11-7 count and the series 3-0. "We're just fortunate to get through it quickly and be able to rest up for the next series," said Thomas Jefferson, who was named series MVP. For the series, Jefferson hit .462 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 3 runs. The New Orleans Crawdads will play against the Calgary Pioneers in the next round. Calgary had a bye in the Geoghegan Round. The Doubleday Series is scheduled to begin on October 8th , 2058.
