Crawdads Juan Donéstevez Injured: Day-to-Day Sunday, July 14th , 2058 It's a long season and everyone picks up some cuts and bruises along the way. The latest star to be suffering this year is Juan Donéstevez of the New Orleans Crawdads, who suffered a strained groin muscle while running the bases in yesterday's contest against Edmonton. While he could play through the injury, it's unclear whether or not the New Orleans organization will risk that or simply sit him out for the 3 weeks the injury is expected to last. So far this year Donéstevez is batting .368 with 20 home runs. |
