Román Goes 5-for-7 Against Edmonton Wednesday, May 17th , 2051 Today at Alberta Gaming, Liquor, & Cannabis (AGLS) Field, Félix Román put on an impressive display. The Mexico City Aztecs center fielder tagged Edmonton pitching for 5 hits in 7 at-bats, but his teammates were unable to capitalize on the spree and lost the game to the Edmonton Jackrabbits by the score of 4-3. "The loss takes some of the joy out of it, but I'll take it," Román said. "5-for-7 ain't bad in any league." Despite the terrific performance, the Aztecs manager was unwilling to offer the center fielder much praise, saying the "whole roster" is held accountable for losses. "Félix told me 'Coach, I had 5 hits' and I said 'Well that's great, but it looks like we needed one more from you,'" manager Emílio Rodríguez said. Félix Román singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ramón Mendoza in the 6th, flied out in the 8th, singled in the 10th, singled in the 13th and singled in the 15th.
