Nashville Hands Bikini 7-2 Loss
|
The Nashville Bluebirds got a strong performance from pitcher Mark Lolololo, who stymied the visiting Bikini Krill en route to a win, 7-2, in Game 2 of the Doubleday Series. The Krill could never get a bead on the left-handed Lolololo, who threw 5.1 innings allowing 1 run. The Bluebirds now hold a 2-0 in the best-of-7 series.
In the bottom of the fourth, Nashville second baseman José Ramos had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Ramos stroked a 2-run single to center. It made the score 4-0, Nashville. For the game, he was 1 for 3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
Ramos said afterward that his team has grown over the course of the season, adding: "It feels good when a plan comes together."
Game 3 is scheduled for Monday at Forever Field in Seattle.
