Almost There: Tokyo On Cusp of GBC Championship by Denny's & Marko Worldwide Triumph After 3-2 Win
|
Starter Ji-e Woo was sensational for the Tokyo Pearls in his team's 3-2 triumph over the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers in Game 4 of the GBC Championship by Denny's & Marko Worldwide today. Woo pitched well, but Tokyo picked up the win to take a 3-1 lead in the series.
Adam Neal took Jean Kattenberg deep in the bottom of the eighth. His solo home run put the Pearls on top, 3-2. In all, Neal had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said Woo, "and then get after it again."
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Manama Fields in Tokyo.
