Jerusalem Bats Go Silent in 4-0 Loss
Sydney second baseman Ari Ernalia contributed significantly to his team's 4-0 win over the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers. Ernalia, who is tied for 6th in the GBC in triples with 6, went 4 for 4 with no runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Sharks. Sydney reliever Jean-Sébastien Mangin snagged the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ed Noble shouldered the loss. Picking up the save was 35-year old right-handed pitcher Cristóbal Águila.

The Sharks had to work out of trouble in the top of the seventh. The score was 3-0, Sydney, with no one out. Jerusalem, with runners on 1st and 3rd, was mounting a threat. Kirby Adams dug in at the plate, but on a 1-2 fastball, he struck out.

The last-place Sharks improved to 60-70.
