Hebrew Hammers Stop Sharks, 6-4

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers and Sydney Sharks.
The Jerusalem Hebrew Hammers defeated the Sydney Sharks, 6-4, in Global Baseball Consortium action at The Holy Land. Jerusalem pitcher Keneki Umina had a standout performance. The winner was Umina. He threw 6.1 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Jerry Bourque. Fernando Camacho recorded the save, his 24th.
Shortstop Taweel bin Fida made an impact for Jerusalem, when he swatted a solo home run off Jerry Bourque in the bottom of the second. For the contest, bin Fida went 1-4 with a home run.
"We'll take some time to unwind," said bin Fida, "and then get after it again."
The first-place Hebrew Hammers have a one-game lead in their division.
