The Phoenix Talons and Mexico City Aztecs completed their game despite the rain.

The Phoenix Talons stopped the Mexico City Aztecs, 5-2, at Ullamaliztli Field. The Talons got a big game from Tomás Borges, who was 2 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Phoenix pitcher Slobodan Omeragic got the win. He's now 9-13. Dave Corfield was tagged with the loss. Josh Dougherty closed it out for his 17th save.

Phoenix took a 4-2 lead on Borges's 18th home run of the season. The solo home run, which he hit off Dave Corfield in the top of the seventh, propelled Phoenix to the win.

Borges told a Phoenix Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.

Phoenix raised its record to 91-69 with the win.
