The exploits of third baseman Alfonso Trinidad, who is tied for 6th in the FL with a .969 OPS, helped the Twin Cities River Monsters defeat the Bikini Krill, 10-2. Trinidad went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Bernie Stuart was the winner. Over 5.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 4 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Twin Cities is third in the Frick League Heartland Division with a record of 38-30.

With Twin Cities leading 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Trinidad hit a splitter from Francisco Ortíz for a 2-run home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the River Monsters ahead, 4-0.
