He easily handled Lumberjacks pitching, going 5 for 5 and helping the Black Sox to a 13-1 triumph at Hot Rods Ballpark. "The way I was swinging today, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview. Told of Care's quip, Lumberjacks skipper Rodney Savage said he "would take him up on that next time." Tierney Care singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 5th and singled in the 8th.
