| Domínguez Keeps Hit Streak Alive Monday, November 30th, 2043 José Domínguez has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 22-year-old Miami Mounties right fielder extended his streak today to 1 games, going 2-for-5 as Miami got the best of the Orlando Hawks at San Jose Grounds, 3-1.
"José has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Mounties manager George Webb said. José Domínguez doubled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, struck out in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
This year Domínguez has hit 4 home runs and posted a .350 batting average. | |
