 | River Monsters Linseman Booms 3 HRs Saturday, November 7th, 2043 Rory Linseman went yard three times in a Ocala River Monsters victory over the Miami Mounties at Oxnard Grounds today. "I was in a groove," he said. "Every pitch they tossed up there looked like a grapefruit." For the day, the Ocala left fielder went 3-for-4 against Miami with 4 RBIs and 4 runs scored in a brilliant display of power hitting that led the River Monsters to the 9-4 win. "I tell you what. I'm shocked because I didn't think that last ball had enough to get out," he told BNN reporters in the clubhouse following the game. "I thought it was just going to be a long out." Rory Linseman hit a solo-shot off Don Wyatt in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Don Wyatt in the 4th, walked in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Christos Aitken in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. |   |
