 | Crawford Shuts Out Apalachicola, 7-0 Wednesday, December 3rd, 2042 Joel Crawford kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Winter Haven Outlaws were all smiles after winning 7-0 against the Apalachicola Robins at Aviators Ballpark today. The right-handed Crawford gave up no runs in his start, permitted 4 hits and had 14 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Crawford said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be." Presently Crawford has a 3-1 mark in 5 starts with a 2.28 ERA. He has given up 15 hits in 27.2 innings, struck out 34 and issued 4 walks.
