| Domingo Goes on Rampage Against Surfers Thursday, November 27th, 2042 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Winter Haven's 7-1 win over West Palm Beach today, shortstop Juan Domingo was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Aviators Ballpark.
"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Domingo said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."
Juan Domingo singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
This year Domingo has socked 22 hits in 48 at-bats for a .458 average with 2 home runs. He is getting on base at a .460 pace and his totals also include 9 RBIs and 13 runs scored.
