 | Hits Galore: Rangel Drills 5 Hits Tuesday, November 18th, 2042 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Carlos Rangel today -- a 5-hit day. He went on a rampage and sparkled on the diamond at Avengers Ballpark, but the performance lost a little luster when the Storm were downed 22-13 by the Graceville Bluebirds. After his glittering performance, the Melbourne left fielder told the press that he "just tried to get myself in a good count and have a good at-bat." His batting theory paid dividends today as he slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. "I just wish we had added a win in the record book today, too," Rangel said. Carlos Rangel hit an RBI single in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Bañuelos in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 7th and walked in the 9th.
