Athens First Baseman June's Premier Rookie Monday, July 1st , 2052 Talbot Purcell was selected as the Global Baseball Consortium Rookie of the Month for the excellent performance he put together last month. In June the 28-year-old first baseman for Athens hit .380 with 27 hits, 3 home runs and 13 RBIs. He posted an OBP of .447 and played in 19 games. So far this year Purcell is batting .393 with 3 home runs. |
