 | Geoghegan Week's Top Player Monday, August 27th, 2046 So far in his young career, Wally Geoghegan has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Burt League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 25-year-old Manama Pearls second baseman hit at a torrid .387 clip as he collected 12 hits in 31 at-bats, 1 home run, 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored.
