Springdale's Dumbarton Cops PL Best Manager Award Sunday, September 29th , 2058 Murray Dumbarton stepped before the microphone today and accepted his Provost League Manager of the Year award, thanking the whole Springdale Roosters organization for making the 2058 season such a success. Dumbarton struggled to find the right words. "My father was a drill instructor in the military. He taught me that you have to work hard, set goals and accept responsibility for your actions. That's what the entire Springdale organization did this year. My dedicated owner, coaching staff, hard-working and talented players and loyal front office all made this award possible. I thank them for it." And what a year it was. Dumbarton sparked the Roosters to a 101-39 record and a first in the Provost League Western standings. |
