Quebec Sweeps Pegler Series Monday, September 16th , 2058 With a 5-1 win over the Springdale Roosters tonight at Jack Hanski Park, the Quebec Capitals wrapped up their 4th title in team history. Quebec left little doubt who was the better club. "Team" was the word of the day as the Capitals celebrated the culmination of their banner year in the victors clubhouse following the game. "Hitting, pitching, fielding; those are all things you need to win, but most importantly you need a team, a team that works together toward the same collective goal," said Quebec manager Chip Saunders. "Our players felt that way all year and they played that way. When one guy had an off day, 24 others stepped up their game and filled the void." A jovial mood filled the air as Quebec celebrated into the night. The city's mayor said parade plans were underway and a "huge celebration" in the works. "We're going to celebrate our team, our championship Quebec Capitals," the mayor said.
