Springdale Takes Outfield Rail Series in Deciding Game Friday, September 6th , 2058 The Springdale Roosters are heading to the Garden Cup, having narrowly defeated the Hollywood Silver Stars. Springdale edged Hollywood in the series 2-1, with a win at The Coop in the clinching game by a 8-0 margin. Farid bin Amin turned in a strong offensive performance for the Roosters and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Pegler Series win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if bin Amin continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .400 with a .400 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 2 RBI and scored 4 runs. The Springdale Roosters will play against the Billings Cowboys in the next round. Billings won their series against the Pahrump Ranchers 2 games to 1.
