August's Best Starter Named in PL Sunday, September 1st , 2058 No doubt about it! Pahrump starter António Chave earned his Provost League Pitcher of the Month award. He made that very clear as he mowed his way through league hitters in August. During the month Chave chalked up a 5-0 record with a 1.26 ERA. The Ranchers star made 5 starts and surrendered 29 hits in 43 innings. He struck out 35 and walked 9. Chave has posted a 15-4 record for the year with a 2.93 ERA.
