PL Awards Best Batter Prize to Dulaney Monday, August 26th , 2058 Don Dulaney must have thought he was dreaming. First he went on an exceptional week-long batting spree, bashing the ball at a .464 clip, then the Pahrump third baseman finds out he has been chosen the league's best performer and gets the PL Player of the Week Award. He told BNN reporters in the postgame, "It was a great week for me. I could see the ball so well. Plus some of the balls seemed to have good eyes, too." For the week Dulaney batted .464 (13-for-28) with 5 home runs and 13 RBIs. For the season Dulaney is currently batting .308 with 21 home runs and 85 RBIs. In 94 games he has reached base at a .367 rate and scored 64 runs to date. |
