Ávila Socks It to Ginzels, Cracks 5 Hits Friday, August 9th , 2058 It was a big day for Luis Ávila and he brought the Thunder Bay Bay Bears along for the ride. Ávila led his club to a 13-0 victory over the Tulsa Ginzels today at The Xerox Fortress, smoking Tulsa pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 21-year-old third baseman later called the victory "sweet." Luis Ávila singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Ramiro Muñóz in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and doubled in the 7th.
