Thunder Bay Blanks Tulsa, Duarte Winner Friday, August 9th , 2058 It wasn't easy but Javier Duarte made it look that way. Duarte silenced the Tulsa Ginzels, 13-0, in a Thunder Bay Bay Bears triumph at The Xerox Fortress today. Despite the appearance of dominance, Duarte said later that he felt like he was struggling all game. He gave up 2 walks and 5 hits. "It didn't feel quite right today, but I made the decision to bear down and work through it," he said. "I made a few mistakes but it goes to show what you can do with grit and not much else."
