Star of the Week Honored in BL Monday, July 15th , 2058 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Baxter League Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Marty Barnett for his great week at the plate. The Lake City left fielder took home the trophy by banging out 14 hits in 23 at-bats for a .609 batting average, driving in 8 runs and scoring 5 times. This season Barnett is hitting .380 with 7 home runs. |
