Denton Hitless, Streak Ends at 22 Tuesday, July 2nd , 2058 The Folsom Foxhounds pitching staff did its job today, holding hot-hitting Floyd Denton hitless in 4 at-bats during the club's 5-4 victory over the Billings Cowboys at Ballpark of Folsom. The disappointing performance ended a 22-game hitting streak for the first baseman. "I'm a little down right now," Denton said after the game. "I couldn't get anything going when the team needed me, and I hated to see the streak end, too." Denton on the season is batting .429 with 4 home runs. His totals include 52 RBIs and 72 runs scored.
