Billings Shuts Out ThunderBears, Cruz Winner Friday, June 28th , 2058 Javier Cruz held the Topeka ThunderBears to 4 hits and fashioned a fine 1-0 shutout at Panthers Ballpark today. Speaking after the game, Billings Cowboys manager Roberto Torres said "Cruz had everything going for him today. He changed speeds effectively, stayed down, had a lot of movement. He was masterful." Cruz rung up 8 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks in the game. "We couldn't get anything going. He certainly had our number," Topeka manager Jaime Cantú told reporters.
