Chave Magnificent in 7-0 Pahrump Triumph Sunday, June 23rd , 2058 Pahrump Ranchers hurler António Chave was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Aspen Surge, shutting them out 7-0 on 8 hits. "António was very aggressive tonight," Pahrump manager Claudio Pérez said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Chave tallied 8 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager Yoshitoshi Nakagawa said. "Chave has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off." This season Chave has compiled a 6-3 record with a 3.84 ERA in 10 starts.
