Montaño Cruises to Shutout Sunday, June 23rd , 2058 The Charlesbourg Castors shut out the Shreveport Mudcats 6-0 today behind the strong pitching of Alejandro Montaño. Montaño surrendered only 6 hits in recording the complete-game victory, and struck out 10. Following the last out, Montaño appeared to celebrate a little too boisterously for Shreveport manager Merrill Spencer, who could be seen scolding the famously outspoken left-hander as the clubs left the field. Montaño's own manager then intervened with some words for his counterpart. The Mudcats skipper would not comment on the exchange, but at the Castors press conference, Montaño confirmed that it was regarding the celebration. "He basically told me I was being a lousy winner," Montaño said. "And I told him he was being a lousy loser," Charlesbourg manager Abdul-Matin bin Nazeeh added.
