Rafael Garza Strokes 3 Home Runs Monday, May 20th , 2058 Rafael Garza was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 10-3 Boulder Crush triumph at Crush Field today. The 22-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Crush past the Redwood City Rocketmen. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," Garza told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The catcher went 4-for-5, rung up 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs on his record-setting day. Rafael Garza hit a solo-shot off Alberto Muñóz in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Alberto Muñóz in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Rodrigo Valentín in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Garza is hitting .363 in 2058 with 22 RBIs and 6 home runs. |
