Hao Hang Chosen PL's Premier Player
Thursday, October 4th, 2040
At the age of 20, Hao Hang of the Grand Junction Gold Sox could very well have his best years ahead of him.

It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2040 was good enough to win the left fielder the Provost League Sixto Mazzola Batter Award.

"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."

The top hitter put up a .332 batting average this year, as well as a .381 on-base percentage. He played 136 games and racked up 177 hits, 59 doubles, 5 triples, 37 home runs, 104 RBIs and 110 runs scored.

He received 31 first place votes out of a possible 32. Jesús Báez of the Aspen Surge finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Joe Bradshaw of the Billings Cowboys finished third.
