Red-Hot Rookie Rewarded in September Wednesday, October 1st , 2059 The Johnson League made the official announcement today. The Rookie of the Month trophy went to Masahiko Harada of Rockville. He was voted the outstanding rookie in September. Last month, the 22-year-old Pikemen first baseman played in 21 games and hit .349 with 7 doubles, no triples and 7 home runs. Harada also scored 16 times and drove in 19 runs. This year, Harada is batting .296 with 176 hits, 36 home runs, 100 RBIs, 53 walks, .352 OBP and has scored 91 runs. |
