Takuda Sidelined for 8 Months Thursday, October 10th , 2058
When Twin Cities starting pitcher Yoshii Takuda was taken out of the game, the crowd at the River Monsters-Mad Popes game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Takuda had sustained shoulder inflammation and will be out for about 8 months.
Takuda has gone 14-7 this season with an ERA of 3.89 and 137 strikeouts in 196.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .254 against him.
