Geoghegan Round Goes the Distance, Montreal Prevails Monday, October 7th , 2058 After their 2-1 win today at Ubisoft Field over the Charlotte Flyers, the Montreal Blazers will advance to the Doubleday Series. Montreal won the series by a 3-2 margin. Leading the way for the Blazers was reliever Adam Bristcoe, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP. "I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus." The Montreal Blazers will play against the Charm City Jimmies in the next round.
