No Playoff Berth Coming for Mexico City Monday, September 23rd , 2058 Félix Román said it's going to be "an awfully long offseason" for the Mexico City Aztecs after they missed the Brewster Baseball Association playoffs. The club came close, but ultimately ran out of games to secure a postseason spot and were eliminated from contention today. Before this season, the Aztecs last missed the playoffs in 2048. In the 64 years they have been a Brewster Baseball Association franchise, they have made the playoffs 28 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Aztecs have only missed the playoffs once. Mexico City last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2052. |
