Duggan Week's Best Player Monday, September 16th , 2058 Arvin Duggan, known affectionately as "the old man" by the younger players in the Nine clubhouse, showed his teammates how to do it last week -- and in the process the 37-year-old vet beat out all competition for the Frick League Player of the Week Award. He put up a .455 batting average, 10 hits in 22 at-bats, 2 home runs and 11 RBIs. Duggan also scored 6 runs. Duggan has collected 111 hits for the Nine this year, 20 of them home runs. He has also netted 65 RBIs and scored 67 runs while batting .221. |
