Bears Swanson to Miss Year Wednesday, September 11th , 2058 The season is apparently over for Alexander Swanson. The San Fernando Bears medical staff informed the club that the starting pitcher will be out at least 10 months with a stretched elbow ligament. Swanson was hurt in the game against Bikini while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Swanson has recorded a 9-11 mark. In 30 starts he has fanned 101 batters in 177.2 innings with a 4.15 ERA. |
