Moreno Makes 300 HR Mark Monday, September 2nd , 2058 Mexico City's outstanding left fielder Fernando Moreno joined the 300 home run club today at Ullamaliztli Field with a booming blast in the Aztecs win over the Pioneers. They topped Calgary 4-2. On his milestone day Moreno had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored. Tongue-in-cheek he told the press, "Don't tell me when I get close to the next milestone. Just tell me after I reach it. It will be easier to hit that way." Moreno is batting .309 with 3563 career base hits, including 750 doubles, 114 triples and 300 home runs with 1343 RBIs and 1901 runs scored.
