JL's Premier Batter Picked Sunday, September 1st , 2058 Félix Román may be getting older, but he's evidently not slowing down. The Mexico City Aztecs center fielder is the Johnson League Batter of the Month for August after posting a stellar campaign. Román batted .322, hit 16 home runs, drove in 39 runs, scored 26 times and compiled a .391 on-base percentage. Román has collected 143 hits for the Aztecs this year, 37 of them home runs. He has also netted 96 RBIs and scored 83 runs while batting .277. |
