Mad Popes, Nine Deal Star Players Monday, August 19th , 2058 A blockbuster swap has been in the rumor mill for several days, and it finally came to fruition. BNN is reporting that the Sacramento Mad Popes and Yellow Springs Nine have agreed to a major deal involving top-name players. The Mad Popes have shipped 29-year old RHP António Báldez, 22-year old LF Carlos Hernández, and 31-year old RF John Hopkins to the Nine for 32-year old RHP Cheslav Evgrafov and 31-year old RF Nazeeh Ragheb. This year Báldez has 3 saves in 33 relief appearances with a 5-11 record and 5.71 ERA. This year Evgrafov has compiled a 4-10 record with a 6.70 ERA. |
