Gamblers Trade Armstrong to Surfers for Barajas Monday, August 19th , 2058 Atlantic City and Long Beach announced today in a joint press conference that 34-year old RHP Eddie Armstrong will be going to the Surfers in exchange for 20-year old minor league 3B Júlio Barajas. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. This season Armstrong has compiled a 10-11 record with a 3.71 ERA in 26 starts. |
