Charm City-Valencia Swap: Hooheno for Molina Monday, August 19th , 2058 It likely won't turn either team into an instant contender or provide a huge franchise shakeup, but the Charm City Jimmies and Valencia Stars finalized a trade today. Charm City will send 27-year old RHP Siua Hooheno to the Stars, while the Jimmies will receive 18-year old minor league LF Jesús Molina and 18-year old minor league SS Jesse Sanders. "We think this is a deal that will help out both teams and we're glad to get it done," Jimmies general manager David Burcicki said. The trade is expected to be officially completed later today with the players joining their new ballclubs by the end of the day. To this point in the season, Hooheno has rung up 1 save in 40 relief appearances. He has also crafted a 4.38 ERA, 2 wins and 2 losses and 56 strikeouts in 63.2 innings. |
