Rosales Clobbers 3 HR Against Tropics Friday, August 16th , 2058 It was a good day for the Portland Lumberjacks and an exceptional one for Pedro Rosales. The 30-year-old center fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Lumberjacks beat the Hawaii Tropics 7-6 at ‘Iolani Palace. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Rosales said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 4 times, drove in 4 runs and smacked 4 hits in 5 at-bats. Pedro Rosales hit a two-run home run off Utbah bin Muta in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Bill Williams in the 8th and hit a solo-shot off Juan Martínez in the 9th.
