Season-Ending Injury for Damian Theophanous Friday, August 16th , 2058 The Phoenix Talons were dealt a severe blow when Damian Theophanous was hurt throwing a pitch recently in a game against the San Antonio Outlaws. After the game, the team trainer reported Theophanous might have to spend a lengthy time on the injured list. Today doctors confirmed it, ruling the 33-year-old starting pitcher out for the rest of the season with a partially torn labrum. They indicated it would take Theophanous at least 4 months to heal. So far this season Theophanous has 6 wins and 2 losses and a 3.66 ERA. |
