Swing! Swang! Swung! U Smashes 3 HR Tuesday, August 6th , 2058 Nam-cheol U was sending souvenirs to the sun gods all game long in the 12-4 Rocky Mountain Oysters triumph at Smashburger Field today. The 32-year-old put on a show for fans, launching not one, not two, but three home runs into the stands and powering the Oysters past the Boise Spuds. "One homer's good, two's great, three's out of sight," U told BNN reporters after the game. "I can't wait until next game. I really feel good at the plate." The left fielder went 3-for-5, rung up 6 RBIs and scored 3 runs on his record-setting day. Nam-cheol U struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ed Noble in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Donald Baker in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Ash Davenport in the 8th. This year U is hitting at a .283 pace with 22 home runs and 72 RBIs. He has played in 95 games and scored 55 times. |
