Duggan Gets 300th Home Run Monday, August 5th , 2058 It was a historic day for Yellow Springs's fine center fielder Arvin Duggan. He slammed home run number 300 in the Nine 9-5 loss to the Des Moines Kernels at Utopia Field. He told reporters after the game that he was disappointed in losing the game. "It's great to get that many homers, but I don't play for homers -- I play to win. That's the name of the game." In his milestone-making game Duggan went 2 for 3, scored 2 runs and collected 2 runs batted in. That home run put him in a select group of ballplayers.
