Hawaii's Mehta Out 3 Weeks Sunday, July 21st , 2058 The Hawaii Tropics were informed today by team doctors that second baseman Adhyapayana Mehta sustained a herniated disc in a recent game against the Yellow Springs Nine and will not play for 3 weeks. Mehta was hurt colliding with a player at a base. Mehta is hitting .261 this season with 3 home runs, 33 RBIs and 41 runs scored. He has 89 hits in 341 at-bats. |
