Rockville Deals Leach to Boise for Hill Monday, July 8th , 2058 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Rockville Pikemen and the Boise Spuds have agreed to a deal that will have 38-year old minor league RHP Danny Leach heading to Boise in exchange for 18-year old minor league RHP Lu-king Vein, 20-year old minor league SS Joe Hall, and 28-year old LHP Logan Hill. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Rockville will retain a portion of Leach's remaining contract. Leach's won-lost record is 174 wins and 160 losses with a 4.00 ERA and opposing hitters have compiled a .254 batting average against him. This season Hill has been credited with no saves in 15 relief appearances. In 21 innings he has a 0-0 won-lost mark, 4.71 ERA and 18 strikeouts |
